Using line art stamps
Saturday, 28 April 2012
My blog this week features two cards from the Every Moment stamp set.
These stamps are line art images which means there are no solid or shaded areas and they look great when coloured in.
I don't tend to use these stamps so much as colouring in is time consuming, however the final result is great and it is a fun thing to do on a rainiy afternoon.
Bluebird Card
This card uses the wet wipe technique of swiping colour onto glossy cardstock to create the stripy background. The bird was stamped over top and then coloured with markers and a blender pen.

Field of Daises Card
This card uses the simple masking technique to make it appear that some flowers are in front of the others. Also please note the new ribbon, available now in the autumn / winter mini catalogue, this ribbon comes already pleated. A real bonus for some of you ladies who like to see your ribbon pleats nice and even. And the work is all done for you!!!
